Fontana-di-TreviThe Pantheon, temple of the Gods and later Christian church  consecrated to the Martyrs, one of the most imposing buildings of the past is specially  famous for its incredible dome,  built in the 2nd century and still the widest in the world  (5 feet more than St. Peter’s).

Pantheon1

Piazza Navona is certainly one of Rome’s most spectacular squares with the famous Four Rivers Fountain, a masterpiece of Gianlorenzo Bernini, (and one of the cursed spots of Angels & Demons), and facing it, Francesco Borromini’s church of  Saint Agnes.

Strolling through the narrow streets full of shops typical of Rome’s city centre, we arrive to the Trevi Fountain.  This place became world known after the famous movie “La Dolce Vita” and the song “Three Coins in the Fountain”.

5 minutes walk from Trevi will lead us to the Spanish Square,  where the stairs designed in the 17 hundreds, look like a marble waterfall. At the top of the staircase one might enjoy one of the greatest views of the eternal city.

Right in front of the Spanish Steps starts the most glamorous shopping street of Rome, Via Condotti, where among others, you will find: Valentino, Gucci, Louis Vouitton, etc.
